12 May Chime And Your ISA (How to hire and train an ISA)
Any real estate agent who has been scaling up their business will probably consider hiring an inside sales agent, or an ISA. In fact, if you’ve been regularly using Chime to handle plenty of leads, you likely have one already.
True to their name, an ISA handles inside sales, which involve stuff like lead generation, lead qualification, lead nurturing, and appointment setting. It’s a tiring job, and if your business has been growing steadily, you’ve probably seen the need to delegate these tasks to a dedicated specialist.
In this episode, we have Pavel Stepanov, CEO of Virtudesk, and Katrina Salvador, one of Pavel’s virtual assistants and a high-level Chime user. Virtudesk is a company that provides virtual assistants. In the real estate industry, these virtual assistants are usually ISAs.
Katrina uses Chime to manage her client’s leads and contacts. Whenever a lead does something like visiting the agent website, the lead’s information is already visible in Chime. So Katrina looks at this information and automatically handles the pre-screening and qualification for the lead.
The Chime set up for her client already has preset Tasks, which simply tell Katrina what to do with the client, and whether to call them or not. When you use Smart Plans and Tasks together, Chime will tell you when there’s a Task to be done- and it’s crucial that someone handles that Task quickly and efficiently.
If you’re an agent who has a lot on your plate right now, you’ll need someone like Katrina, an ISA, to make sure that all those Tasks are completed. Otherwise, you’ll have a nightmare on your hands.
There are a whole lot of things that Katrina is doing, but mainly her job involves nurturing the client’s database of leads. With Chime, she gets instructions on who to call and when to call them, and when those Tasks come in, she gets right to it.
As an ISA, Katrina’s workflow involves logging into Chime, checking the list of tasks and their due dates, and doing them. She also handles lead management for her client. One thing that you should pay attention to in this episode is how she manages her client’s past clients.
Their setup goes like this: through Chime, past clients are scheduled to be sent an email around a year after closing. This email is just to check in on them and their new home to keep communications warm.
